January Glam Bag!

Recently I got my glam bag from my-glam in the mail. If you are not familiar with their bag it is basically like a birch-box. You have to pay ten dollars a month to receive high end, deluxe sample size to full make-up and beauty products. It is run by Michelle Phan, she is one of the best beauty gurus on YouTube . Her skills started it all, if you have not seen her check her out asap! The only down fall of the glambag, it is not a big problem. So lets say if you want the December glambag and you subscribe in December, you will receive next months order. Which is bit of bummer:( This months was okay, but last months was even better. So with a further a do, let me begin:

 The items:

1)Freeman's Facial Peel-off Cucumber Mask.
I really love this product, I feel it works pretty good on my skin to get rid of dead skin cells. Few cautions: Apply generously so when it dries it can become a mask, that way all dead skin cells can come off. Next, remember not to use on sensitive areas such as close to the eyes because it will pull on your skin.

2)The Balm's Hot Ticket Nail-Polish in Lilac Any Sense.
I really like this nail-polish, but it does take some time to dry. It is not a really a lilac. It is more of a lilac with some red mixed in making it darker.

3)Sheet Cover Duo Concealer in Light/Medium.
The concealer was bummer to get because it does not match my skin color. It does have an okay consistency, but I some that is a bit thicker and creamer.

4)Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner.
This product is my favorite, it worked wonders on my hair. I only used once. It gave it more shine and silky feel. I think I will have to repurchase this.

Some more random pictures:)

Easy Pineapple Upside Down Cake!!

So it was Saturday night, and my parents went out to a party. I was left home alone with my brother and we wanted some dessert to eat. Right then and there I said no, but my brother said if he made dinner I would have to clean the dishes. I decided then to make a Pineapple cake because it was just sitting in our cabinet spending its days all lonely.

All you need:)

1) Can of Pineapples, crushed or rings
2) Cake batter, yellow or white, preferably Pillsbury or Betty Crocker
3) Vanilla extract
4) Brown sugar

Step 1: Mix the the batter together.
Mix the batter like you normally do and pre-heat the oven.

Step 2: Add the pineapples and juice
All you need to is add 4 spoonfuls of broken up pineapple directly into the batter. Then pour in about two tablespoons of pineapple juice.

Step 3:  Vanilla extract.
Add about two teaspoons of vanilla extract only if you are using white cake mix.

Step 4: Prepare the pan!
Spray cooking spray or pour oil into the pan to make sure the cake does not stick. This step is very important for a nice cake. Make sure when you check the box and choose a pan size bigger than you already have to prevent over-flowing.

Step 5: Assembly of the cake.
Spread about 2/3 of a cup of brown sugar in the pan. Then add the pineapple(make sure you get rid of most of the juice of the pineapples), spread evenly. After that, add another layer of brown sugar. Finally, add batter and put in the oven.

Step 6: Checking the batter.
After you set the timer, you want to occasionally check back on the cake to ensure no burning or overflowing.  Then after the timer check the batter by inserting a toothpick into the cake to make sure that it is done, you might need some extra time.

Step 7: Cool and enjoy:
After the cake is done, give it at least an hour to cool. Then flip it over on a platter and enjoy your simple pineapple upside-down cake!

Spring nail-polish+Thank you!!

First off, let's get into nail-polish. Over a month ago my Walgreens was having a HUGE SinfulColors nail-polish sale. Each nail-polish was about 99 cents, yup only 99 cents. I went nuts and brought about 20 polishes!( I am not bragging in anyway shape or form) So among those 20, my sister picked one up, and it was a nice spring color.  So here it is......

GLASS PINK: This color is a simple sparkly pink nail-polish, that is quite sheer. The only problem with these polishes, is that it takes some time to dry:(

I wrote this article to see if you guys would like an entire spring nail-polish guide.... Leave in the comments below and tell me what you think!

Lastly,I wanted to say I reached over 25 members! I wanted to thank you guys for supporting me in the two months I have been blogging:)  I really appreciate the nice comments from you guys and I think I responded to ALL OF THEM( so if you did not see it, go check it out:) Thank you so much, I love you all!

Forever 21 'I [heart] Lip Gloss Set' review

Hey guys! So since summer I have been trying out Forever 21 make-up products and one of the very few things I brought was this lip gloss set. So the pack comes with eight glosses with reds, pinks, and one espresso brown. I purchased them on Forever 21 online for $9.80.

The packaging is very cute! The tubes are plastic with gold stars. They are basically retractable brushes that eject liquid lipstick!

-Appropriately thick
- Quite bright
-The brush tip adds a more precise application
- nice scent

-Not enough coverage
- Bit sticky

Overall feel: They are nice lip glosses, but I would not get the whole eight pack if I was you. I would suggest getting two and going up from there if you really like it. So far I really like the deep red because it looks very nice on my lips. Overall I think they are okay for like a little girl or someone who enjoys cheap make-up.

I [heart] Lip Gloss Set are on sale for only $8.00

Have you ever purchased these lip-glosses before, if you have tell me in the comments below and tell me what you think:)

Polyvore: Geek Chic

Geek Chic
Okay so I discovered this website called Polyvore recently. I have to say I really enjoy it! The website lets you design full outfits and if you are really interested, you can purchase the outfits you design. All you have to do is register and start designing. You can share them on your blog, twitter, Facebook, and anywhere you want. So enough about Polyvore now onto the outfit.
For the top I did this really cute blue t-shirt that says," Why you guys up in my Bizznazz." I thought the shirt would add a pop of color and a more playful effect. Then to make the look more sophisticated I added a pale blazer, so the bright shirt won't overpower the outfit.
As for waist down I did a pair of dark-washed denim skinny jeans because this outfit is more of a comfort look, instead of very dressed up. Then I had some problems deciding on the shoes because there was so many to choose from. I went with a pair of nude flats with some gold embellishment on the back. Other shoes that would look good with this outfit are nude heels/pumps, some sparkly gladiator sandals, or some plain nude oxfords.
As for accessories I wanted to make this outfit look cute and sophisticated. I went this gold, textured clutch for some shine. By the way the clutch in the whole outfit photo is different from the other one by its self. Then since this outfit hardly any sparkle I decided on a cute bow ring from forever 21 which is a total steal! Then to top it all off I added a pair of thick black glasses to finish off the geeky look, but it does add a hint of cuteness:)
Well I hope you enjoyed! Remember to comment, subscribe, and become a member.

Have you ever used Polyvore before? If you have please leave a comment saying your Polyvore address so I can check out your pieces!

Current Obsession: Revlon Just Bitten lip-stain!

Hey guys! sorry I have not posted in a while, but I have one today. Today I am going to talk about my current obsession which is the Revlon Just Bitten lip-stain in dawn.

Lip-stain: If you have never tried this lip-stain before you might feel a tingling sensation on your lip the first time you put it on, but it won't hurt.  The color a rosy with a hint of red, but more pigmented on your lips. After a short time the color fades to a much more natural lip color which I really enjoy.

Lip-balm: I apply the balm after applying my lip-stain on my lips. It adds a hint of shine on my lips, which fools people into thinking it is lipstick. Sometimes, I just put on the balm without the stain because it is very moisturizing.

Overall feel: I really like this lip-stain/balm because it is something that stays on much longer than a gloss or a lipstick. It is perfect for school, work, and lazy days at home.

Would you re-purchase: Yes

Have you ever purchased Revlon Just Bitten lip-stain before? If you have comment below and tell me what color and if you liked it:)
