Review | Rosy Tint Lips by Etude House in 'Sunny Flower' and 'Tea Rose'

Hello ♡ Today is a very special day because I am reviewing the Rosy Lip Tints by Etude House ^_^ I purchased these lovely shades from Cosmetic.Jolse, which you can see here. The products were released with the And Rose collection by Etude House in late August into early October. The Rosy Tint Lips were definitely the highlight of the entire collection.  They are said to be ,obliviously, lip tints and also  have a matte finish.

First of all, the packaging is so freaking adorable! The box's graphic design and orientation is amazing and very eye-catching. The actual tube of product is unique. I say unique because it is like a tube of lipgloss, but the applicator is actually a doe foot applicator material and in the center is where the product comes out. I had a very similar item, with this kind of applicator, but it was more like a Stila Lip Glaze body.

The plastic tube itself is very thick and the product itself is very thick, making it harder for the product to come out. However the applicator comes off with a twist, so if you want to apply with a brush for more precise results, the packaging will not stop you from doing so. The applicator makes it easier to create a gradient  because of it's spongey tip. I am also presuming you can clean and sanitize the tips making this a plus :D

The actual formula itself is just the packaging because it is fantastic. As you can see in the picture above, 'Sunny Flower' comes out as a bright vibrant red-orange, while 'Tea Rose' comes out as a pinkish-nude color. They formula is creamy and dries to a matte finish. The rich velvet texture will not dry out your lips. It lasted for about four hours with eating and drinking.

Final Thoughts?
To keep it simple, I highly suggest this product for any makeup users. It is so versatile in a sense that you can easliy do a gradient, give it a glossy shine, mix it with other colors, etc. I did not mention this before, but it smells like roses ^_^ It comes in different colors, but they all have a hint of red to keep up with the theme of mystical and romantic roses. It was pretty cheap in sense of price because the quality is so good, only ten dollars! You bet I am going to buy more:)

What do you think of these products?

  1. I'm glad to hear that you like these. I tried them too and am not a fan. I got the darkest shade, which I hoped would be more berry-like but ended up more of a basic red.

    1. So sorry this did not work for you:/ I suggest you try some of the other colors because this is a really well done collection:)

  2. I really want to try the shade in Tea Rose! Thanks for the review! XD

  3. The darker shade looks more like a purple. I'm curious as to how it appeared on your lips, seeing as it seemed very grape-colored on Sulli ^^ xoxoox

    1. The dark shade Sulli is wearing is the color in the bottom right corner of the color system picture. I have the color 'Tea Rose' right above the color Sulli is wearing.

  4. I love the shades #3, #5, #7 and #8 ~ I'd like to try those ones ^^

  5. I really want this product ahhhh! QAQ The Tea Rose looks gorgeous and I can't already imagine so many looks I could use it for.
Thank you so much for the review! <3
