Why buy school supplies?

Hello Everyone | When I was younger I was sooo obsessed with trying to sly my way into getting my parents to buy me the nice, colorful, and printed school notebooks/folders for school. I also wanted some nice pens along with a fancy Five-Star pencil pouch. I would try to steer away from the ninety-cent notebooks along with the fifteen-cent paper folders.

Since I started High School, I am getting into making my own supplies. Like above! Well, I don't have a notebook factory in my backyard. I am talking about buying the cheap stuff and adding stickers along with paint and markers. It really makes for a personal touch ^_^

Above, I did some swag embroidery on the front of an old rice bag from the Indian store. I plan on turning this into a pencil pouch and will definitely share the finished product. Lol, you will probably have to buy some stuff or else you are considered unprepared for class.

I also included some of my favorite back to school videos below for some fun-spiration (see what I did there?).

Thanks for reading-XOXO

  1. I'm going back to school in september (gcse's...kill me...) and deffo need some more supplies. Making them yourself is so cool! Thought Year 9 I definitely rocked the 1-barclays-pen supplies. Not cool.
