Here is the second edition of my inspired makeup looks. Today I will be doing a Tiffany Hwang's ft. Simon Dominic "Heartbreak Hotel" which was released as an SM Station Digital Single on 6.10.16.  

I am about to go on a tangent about Fany's style and about the song, so if you really don't care and want to skip to the makeup part, skip the next two paragraphs. 

First off, this single has to be my favorite song Tiffany has every sung. It does a great job utilizing her voice without straining notes she has a fifty-fifty chance of hitting. Not to mention that Simon D has a tight rap, much like me trying to say a twenty minute speech in a minute, pretty sick. Tiffany may not be my favorite member of SNSD, but since the 2012 Japanese Expansion era, Fany has gotten quite the push from management. I mean there are instances in songs where she sang more than Seohyun and Jessica (who are vocally ranked higher than her). She also had a style change where she is much more confident which can definitely be seen prior to the I Got a Boy Era. Good thing!

Why I am switching from an Erin Condren Planner to a Bullet Journal.

If you remember back at the beginning of last August, I mentioned I had purchased an Erin Condren Planner. At the time, THEY WERE HUGE (in popularity)! I felt like anyone who was motivated and organized had them. The planners are structured unlike any other planner I have ever seen with its unique vertical columns. 

One thing that really lured me into buying one was the huge EC planning community. Major YouTube EC planner users showed how they decorated their spreads with custom EC stickers bought from Etsy. If you were a passionate planner, you could apply themes to each week with the many designs found on Etsy.  

It was fun and sparkly at the beginning, but it soon turned a bit dull.

Five Stationary Favorites

So I think I have turned into one of those crazy planners who have an undying obsession with stationary supplies. I don't know why, but there is just something about pretty pens, cute stickers, and the idea that I somewhat have my life together. I have two Pinterest boards relating to this topic: one being my planner board (here) and another being my desk board (here) because a desk is a very important part of my so-called productivity.

I thought I would share some of my stationary favorites if any of you are looking into what to buy if interested in bullet journaling, planning, or just need some nice office supplies.

Makeup for Newbs

Last week, a couple friends and I went to get some frozen yogurt (not ice cream, get with the times man) and amongst the conversations on what to do after, my one friend wanted to buy some new makeup. Of course after hearing that my crops were watered, my skin become clear, and I was going to college for free. That didn't actually happen, but I just wanted to share how excited I was to have a reason to go to Ulta. 

At Ulta, I asked my friend what she wanted and she was confused because she didn't know where to start. She was absolutely clueless, which is not bad (love ya, Maheera), but I come from a background where either my friends passionately love makeup or they didn't give a shitake mushroom. Which gave me a bright idea for this post. Today, I will be giving you a stripped down version of what any Newb needs. I am gonna make so simple, even a sixth grader can read it. *Note: if you are a sixth grader, please stay in school*

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit

If you have been following me for some time, you would know that I recently started playing in the highlight and contouring game. Like many, I am poor. So when I see a nice palette that HAS EVERYTHING I need to complete a makeup look, I am willing to splurge or ask for as a gift. 

I received the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit (link) as a gift from my sister on my 18th birthday. I was so excited to receive this product because it is not cheap and easy to get. It costs $80.00 and is only available during the holiday season. Luckily for me, my birthday is a little after the holiday season, so Sephora had leftovers.

A Chapter Ended: High School.

If you would have asked me how I feel about High School two or three years ago, I would say it feels as if it will never end, and this is coming from someone who has had senioritis since sophomore year. However, now that it has ended, it is kind of unreal. 

I started running this blog probably six- to eight months before I started high school and I'm really thankful that I was able to capture almost all memories I have accumulated in high school through this piece of the internet. I have to say that I have significantly changed these past four years.
